I am writing to inform you of our first and only confirmed positive COVID-19 test out of our Seymour, WI location. We received notification of the positive case Sunday night (4/19). This employee has been in self-quarantine since Monday, April 13th as a result of being in contact with an outside person who tested positive. Due to the outside contact and the fact that we do not currently have any other employee’s being tested at this location, we believe this is not a community spread situation.
We have confirmed and communicated with all individuals identified as close contacts, and have asked them to self-quarantine for the required timeframe. We understand that the employee whom tested
positive was actively following safe-distancing practices and was wearing a face mask while at work for at least 2 weeks.
Performance Corp. has been actively following the CDC and WHO recommendations in response to the coronavirus pandemic, and will continue to implement any measures possible and reasonable to ensure
your safety during this unprecedented time. All areas within the facilities are continually being disinfected, and work stations are provided with cleaning supplies to allow for additional precautionary cleaning. All employees are required to abide by social distancing expectations (6ft), are mandated to wear either a company provided or personal face mask, are encouraged to increase hand washing, and limit touching their face. Any employee who is experiencing symptoms of respiratory illness or who has been exposed to someone positive with COVID-19 should not report to work and should call Tori Maass, HR Generalist at 920-209-1574 as soon as possible.
